I've thrown together some makefiles, config.[ch], etc.. that will
build a minimal python (1.0.2, all the os-dependent modules ripped
out). It's not much, but it's a start for those that need to build
their own.
You can grab the zipfile (about 8k) from:
ftp.ksc.nasa.gov (128.159.4.20), in the dir:
cd pub.win3.private.proto
binary
get python-make.zip
To build it, just unpack the zipfile in ./python-1.0.2 (if you're
using pkzip, use whatever option does subdirectories), and type
'nmake'.

If you're interested, there's also a library for accessing Usenet
news (on NT, only the NNTP interface is working at the moment).
Understand that it's all still under development, though. 8^)
