I'm trying to compile Python under a POSIX 1003.1 certified OS called QNX. If you're
not familiar, QNX is a real-time microkernal architechure UNIX on the Intel x86
platform. Anyway, I'm having problems when the Modules sub-dir needs to complie
since there are some .h files which appearantly were not part of the tar for
Python 1.1 (or I can't find them). All the errors I'm getting seem to be centered
around information for sockets and signals.
So I figured I'd outsmart the Makefile and just remove all it's references to the
sockets and signals - however when I was linking and certain ioctrl() functions came
back unresolved I knew I was in deep shit.
A previous post mentioned that the socket includes are generated automagically - if
so how? Also, in QNX the socket libs are part of an extra kit for developing TCP/IP
applications - should I be using these headers?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
