OS/2 python

I picked up an OS/2 python interp. the other day and was wondering if
there was any trick to installing it? In particular, I wanted to do the
clock demo and it demanded stdwin, but python would never find it.
Being a first timer with python, I looked at the web pages and it said
it was built in. I couldn't find it in the lib directory either.
That leads me to my next question, is it supported in the os2 version?
If not, when will it be? Or what does it take? I've been a programmer
for IBM doing OS/2 / PM stuff, and would love to help out if I can.
Python sounds and looks very cool.
another idea I have: I am currently using 4OS/2 to point .py files to
the python interp. It works pretty well but to be less dependant on 3rd
party tools, we could make it compatible with OS/2's "EXTPROC" feature.
That way python scripts could run from a standard OS/2 command line.
