Hi - I built python-1.2 on a NeXT m68k system running
NS 3.2 - I tried with both cc and gcc2.6.3 and get the following
output regardless:

>>> import os
>>> print os.listdir('.')

['\000\020\000\001.\000\036\230\000\000\000\030\000\003\370v\000\020\000\002..
\000\010\000\000\000(\000\003\350~\000\024\000\004BUGS\000\016"\314\000\000\000<
\000\003\350\203\000\030\000\011ChangeLog\000\207p\000\000\000L\000\001@s\000\024\000
\007Contrib\000\000\000\000\\\000\001x\\\

etc.. ad nauseum!!
Any help MUCH APPRECIATED!!
