Help wanted with Python Library Reference Manual

In my effort to get Python 1.2 ready for release, I am trying to
vastly improve the library manual, both by adding descriptions of new
or previously undocumented modules, and by fixing omissions in the
existing text. This proves to be a huge task.

I am looking for volunteers for the following three tasks:

- find omissions in the existing text (and/or fix them)

- proofread new text I'm writing

- write next sections or chapters

[Enter the Spanish Inquisition. Make that the following *four* tasks...]

- suggest useful cross-references and index entries

I will make the LaTeX source of my current working text available for
ftp. You don't need to know much about LaTeX but it helps if you can
print it; I prefer to receive remarks in the form of fixes or
annotations to the LaTeX source.

Write to me directly if you have some time to spare!
