This is to announce that ILU 1.7 is available. ILU is a system for
designing and using language-independent object oriented API's. It is
also, due to the implementation design, a ``network objects'' system for
C, C++, Python, Common Lisp, and Modula-3. Libraries implemented in any
of these languages can be used by modules written in any of the other
languages. The ILU model happens to map very nicely to the Python model
of objects, making it a nice tool to use for building distributed Python
systems.

To get the ILU release, or just to find out more about it, see the links
from ftp://ftp.parc.xerox.com/pub/ilu/ilu.html.
