Currently not... I guess when you've done the tutorial you can start
reading the library manual and the reference manual and then the
source code, but that's about it. Oh, the collected postings of Tim
Peters and Steve Majewski and a few others (available from the mailing
list / newsgroup archives) also add valuable knowledge.

Now that you mention it... Mark Lutz and I have decided to go and
write such a book on Python. For now, that's about all that I can
reveal.
