I started on a Tk-ish module for Python, but using STDWIN for all
graphics, to preserve the portability aspects. Three problems: STDWIN
needs some mods, basically moving simple color and font and transform
operations to the C level for speed and per-window-system
optimization; the STDWIN text interface is somewhat limited and will
need to be expanded; and I don't have enough time just now.
