StdWin Question...

Greetings to all from a Python newbie (all of three weeks'
experience!).

I know this isn't strictly about Python per se, but does anyone know
whether StdWin has been ported to MS Windows, or whether anyone is
thinking of doing so? It would be useful to those of us constrained
to using DOS machines, and Python would make a very nice Windows
scripting language...
