Honestly, I hate regular expressions (except for trivial pattern-matching
tasks), but love your extensions. This is kinda like I hate squash, but
love the butter and cinnamon thoughtful cooks add to make the goo more
palatable. I hope Guido looks kindly on adopting your spices (er,
patches) for 1.0!
