Yes, you can ftp it from ftp.cwi.nl, directory pub, file python0.9.6.zip.
I didn't compile it, and can't test it, so you are on your own using
it though. I have heard that there are some minor problems with it
(e.g. list.index() returning a wrong value and there may be a problem
with breaking out of a loop sometimes), but basically it is fully
functioning. The "posix" module supports all the Unix functions that
are reasonably implementable on DOS.
