I am trying to get ready to post the complete Python sources to
comp.sources.unix (or somewhere else if the c.s.u moderators don't
accept it) so I can finally bump the version number to 1.0. There
may be one round of patches posted to this mailing list first, to
correct minor things; this will create version 0.9.7.

The main think I'm currently worried about is the documentation. If
you have comments, either very detailed or on the general structure
and quality, please let me know! Of course, any other comments are
also welcome, but the point is that if the software doesn't work, I
get complaints immediately, while if there's a problem with the docs,
most people will figure it out anyway...
