I would like to generate a raw sys-ex-dump that I have in the form of
a SMF-file. Is your parser a good starting point for this? (If you are

P.S. I think you once asked the list for interests in python for midi.
I don't remember answering it then but I once had this idea to use
python on my Amiga for things like a synth-librarian and synth-editor.
I haven't done anything about it though.
