Just a short note that I've put the latest beta release on my ftp site
(ftp.cwi.nl, /pub/python1.0.0beta.tar.Z). This fixes various
portability bugs that have been discussed on and off the mailing list
lately. It should hit the mirror sites (gatekeeper.dec.com:
/pub/plan/python/cwi and ftp.uu.net: /languages/python) within 24
hours.
