CWI local newsgroups

• Use the subject index unless you can't find what you want there; the full text index finds the word anywhere in the body or header of the news article, but is likely to give more false hits.
• Keyword searches are case independent. Use as many keywords as you want, separated by spaces.
• The results are presented as a Gopher menu with one entry per matching article; articles that match more than one keyword are listed near the top. An empty menu means there are no hits.
• Follow the newsgroup name links to see recent news.
• When using Lynx or WWW, entering search input in the forms above won't work. You can still do the searches, via the Gopher menu: CHIP (helpdesk).
